Plant Range

We only grow Australian plants – the best selections of our small trees, shrubs, ground covers and climbers. Many of these plants and their labels can be seen in our general plant catalogue

We have an extensive range of over 400 species of cutting grown and grafted plants including:

• A select Australian grafted plant range including the “Summer Hybrid” Flowering Gums. This grafted range covers over 20 species from 7 genera
• Proven range of popular general Australian native plants
• Latest releases from Plants Management Australia, Austraflora, Bush Magic, Ramm Botanicals, Aussie Winners, Touch of Class Plants, Bywong Plants, Fair Dinkum Flora and others
• Hottest sellers with excellent promotion and labeling
• Tarrawood’s own branded and marketed plants from our own breeding and selection programs
• Best varieties available in terms of horticultural merit, adaptability and low maintenance
• Plants that grow well in Southeast Australia with the grafted plants on well-proven rootstocks for the Eastern states.

Within our plant range are a large number of our new releases and other breeders' PBR cultivars, which we grow under licence. In many cases we are the sole NSW grower for these plants. Our aspiration is to be a 'one stop shop' for retail nurseries wanting quality Australian plants.

Our current stocklist, updated weekly, is for the nursery trade only as we are a "Strictly Wholesale" nursery. It lists plants currently available with prices, comments and numbers available.

Sizes supplied

The majority of our plants are sold in 150 mm and 200 mm black or coloured pots, with Grevillea standards and other advanced plants sold in 250 mm or 350 mm pots. Please note, we do not sell any of our plants as tube stock.

Distribution area and transport arrangements

We supply independent garden centres and landscapers virtually every week in: Sydney; most of regional NSW; ACT; Southern Queensland and Melbourne; and most Victorian regional areas.

Our plants can be on-forwarded from Sydney to most of NSW and Qld. This means nurseries can arrange to have their orders picked up by the freighter of their choice from our carrier’s Sydney depot, or we can organise delivery to most Sydney freight depots. We incorporate the freight costs from Tarrawood to Sydney in your invoice – all on-forwarding costs are extra at your cost. We are happy to assis you with finding the most convenient carrier for your order.

Currrent arrangements are that plants arrive in Sydney at the Barry Rd Wholesale Nursery Kellyville (near PlantMark) each Thursday, for on-forwarding until Christmas 2011.
