Crowea exalata “Excel”

Crowea exalata “Excel” is a shrub that is native to Victoria. It has five-pointed, purplish-pink waxy flowers which can appear all year except in very hot or very cold conditions.

It prefers cool and moist rather than hot conditions and requires some watering during dry periods. Plant where there is some shade or alternatively, shade the soil with mulch, rocks etc. Prune at the end of winter to maintain a compact shape. It is frost hardy. It can grow to 0.7 m high by 1 m across.
