A beautiful, free-branching perennial with masses of bright purple flowers edged with a fancy fringe. The individual flowers are short lived, however each cluster contains many flowers which can open over several months in Spring and early Summer. A tufted plant with grass-like leaves, this is an unusual, very attractive plant.
