Scaevola hybrid “Bright Eyes” in the garden

Bees and butterflies find this wonderful plant hard to resist and congregate en masse throughout the flowering season. It looks terrific planted out amongst other perennial gardens or mass plants to create a swathe of purple, livening up any garden.

“Bright Eyes” grows and flowers best in a well drained soil in full sun to a part shade position. If the soil is poorly drained a raised garden bed is recommended. Alternatively “Bright Eyes” makes a great pot specimen using a premium Australian native potting mix.

“Bright Eyes” is frost hardy plant and requires water only during extended dry periods. It also responds well to an annual prune.
